[3DS][PSA] How to Properly Update to Luma3DS 7.0.x = FIX Games asking for FIRMWARE UPDATE to play Online [11.3.0-37 CFW]

If you haven't updated your 3DS/2DS to 11.4 (which you shouldn't do) then more then likely you are on 11.3.0-37 with Luma3DS 6.6 Custom Firmware. 

Now normally everything should be functioning perfectly, but recently some CFW users have reported "Games asking them to update to 11.4.0-37 to use Online Play"

Do not fear! For there is a super simple solution to this problem, without having to update firmware.
All we need to do is UPDATE Luma3DS to the Latest Stable Build which is currently 7.0.x


HOW TO PROPERLY UPDATE LUMA3DS to 7.0.2

Step 0: ALWAYS MAKE A NAND BACKUP BEFORE YOU MODIFY THE CONSOLE
use hourglass9 or godmode9 to make a nand backup

Step 1: Turn on your 3DS and open "Luma Updater"


Step 2: Press A on "Install normal version"


It will Install Very Quickly.
(first backing up your old arm9loaderhax.bin as "arm9loaderhax.bin.bak" in case you ever need to restore it) 


Step 3: When Finished Press Start to Reboot


Step 4: (optional if config menu appears on reboot) then check off the following:

(x) Auto Boot SysNAND
(x) Use sysNAND firm if booting with R
(x) Show NAND or user string in System Settings

If you're on a new3DS or new3DSxl you can also check:

(x) Clock + L2


Step 5: Open FBI


Step 6: Press A on SD


Step 7: Scroll Down until you see "arm9loaderhax.bin"


Step 8: Press A on "arm9loaderhax.bin"


Step 9: Scroll Down to Copy and Press A


Step 10: Push any button to continue

Step 11: Press B to Exit SD

Step 12: Scroll Down to CTR NAND & Press A


Step 13: Press A to Confirm


DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING IN HERE EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING:

Step 14: Scroll Down to "arm9loaderhax.bin" & Press A


Step 15: Scroll Down to Paste & Press A


Step 16: Press A again to Confirm


Step 17: Push any button to Continue


Step 18: POWER OFF YOUR CONSOLE


Step 19: Remove your SD Card


Step 20: Turn On your Console
You should be greeted with a Luma 7.0.x Config Screen 


Step 21: Scroll Down to "Show NAND or Uuser string in the System Settings" & Press A
*(x) will appear next to the choice*


Step 22: Press Start to save configuration
You now have a Failsafe Luma3DS incase your SD card Fails

Your system should now boot with no Apps or games:


Step 23: Power Off your Console & Reinsert your SD Card
Step 24: Power On your Console 

You're now updated to the latest version of Luma3DS & 
All your Games should now work ONLINE on [11.3.0-37 CFW]
