[3DS][PSA][03/17/2017] "Homebrew Apps" show on "StreetPass" to [Non-CFW] 3DS/2DS Users

I saw a new post about this over on Reddit, and although it is common knowledge,
(there's a thread about it from early last year on GBATemp),
I thought I would type a quick
[Public Service Announcement] about it for anyone who wasn't aware!

As the story goes, if you have "Street Pass" Enabled for your "Mii Plaza", and you are in proximity of someone elses 3DS/2DS; they will see a screen similar to the above image on their Console.

This screen might indicate that you have a Modded System by showing Homebrew Apps as your "Last Played Title". (example in the image above is [FBI: CIA Manager])

Homebrew Application's Title Icons will only show-up on "Street Pass", if it they were;

the Last Title/Game you PLAYED,
Not the Current Game/Title you are PLAYING.

The most common instance of this, is when you;

Install a CIA with [FBI],
- Exit,
- Start Playing the CIA you just Installed.

This will leave your "Last Played Title" as [FBI] on "Street Pass".

(The same also applies to your "Favourite Title", it will also show Homebrew Icons, if you have a Homebrew Title chosen as favourite.)

Now here's what you are thinking -
"DOES THIS EVEN MATTER?!"

-and the Answer is No, there is no chance of getting banned from having your Homebrew Apps show-up on other peoples "Street Pass".

If you are still worried about it:
- Turn Off "Street Pass"   [OR]
- Go into System Settings, or Launch another Legit CIA, after using [FBI] (or other HB Apps)

What happens if someone tries to use my Homebrew Icon in Street Pass to download the Title?

If someone with a [non-cfw] or even a [cfw] device tries to click on the Homebrew Icon to download it, they will be taken to the Nintendo eShop and shown a "Title is not available" error.
